This policy explains what information Osd-Scan (operated by Osd-AI, Holon, Israel) processes when you use the website and the Osd-Scan apps for Android and iOS.
1. Your files
Documents and images are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to our servers and we have no access to them.
2. Information you send us
When you use the contact, feedback or waitlist forms we receive the data you enter (e.g. name, email, message). We use it only to answer you or to inform you about the launch you signed up for, and delete it when no longer needed (at the latest after 24 months). You can ask us to delete it at any time.
3. Local storage
We store small preferences in your browser (e.g. cookie consent, language, a signature you chose to save). This data never leaves your device.
4. Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown; if you decline, only non-personalized ads are displayed. See Google's explanation of how it uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Analytics
On the website we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, device type, approximate country). In the EEA, UK and Switzerland it only uses cookies after you consent. No document content is ever collected.
6. Server logs
Our web server may log technical data (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are deleted after 30 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, Israeli Privacy Protection Law) you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Contact contact@osd-scan.com.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13.
9. Mobile apps (Android and iOS)
The apps work the same way as the website: scanning, OCR and all PDF tools run on your phone, and your files are never uploaded. The apps contain no ads and no analytics.
- Camera: used only while you scan, to take the photos you choose. Images stay on your device.
- Files and photos: only the files you pick or share to the app are opened. Results are saved where you choose (e.g. Downloads › Osd-Scan).
- Internet: used only to send a contact, feedback or waitlist form if you choose to, and to open links.
- Data we receive: only what you type into those forms (e.g. name, email, message), sent encrypted (HTTPS). It is not sold or shared with third parties.
- Deleting your data: uninstalling the app removes all app data from your phone. To delete form messages we received, contact us.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
